?????? ???? ????.
The cushion on the toe and heel is very good and it is not thick enough to be used for four seasons.

3.0 out of 5 stars. CompressionVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mo from Washington on Tuesday, May 29, 2018I wore these socks a few times in many different environments, from mountaineering snow travel to the high desert of eastern WA. The things that I liked about the socks is that they are breathable and fairly warm while also feeling light on the feet. I like the feeling of having compression type socks on; however, they are extremely hard to get over my heel to take them off. I wish the ankle region had a bit more stretch. I couldn't imagine trying to get these off with cold fingers and hands. I was struggling, and cutting off my finger circulation just sitting in a warm tent during mid-day sun.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Performace socks at their finest!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Christine from Vancouver BC on Monday, May 28, 2018Bought these after reading favourable online reviews. Their fit runs on the small side. I have only wore them twice during sring skiing and on a multi day hike. They work well, they are lightweight, wick moisture and the compression feature is fantastic for skiing. I will continue to use them hiking throughout the summer and transition to skiing next winter!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Feel great, run smallReviewed by Sophie de Santiago from Wyoming on Thursday, April 26, 2018I got the blue and red ones, and they are full knee socks, not just over-the-calf. I wear a womens size 5 1/2 shoe, but ordered the medium because I think Smartwool socks run small, and sure enough, they fit perfectly. They do feel like compression socks to me. I'm going to wear them on an overseas flight next month, and use them for some hiking too.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great sockVerified Buyer Reviewed by MuskyMan10 from Washington on Monday, March 12, 2018This mountaineer sock is much lighter weight than the last Smartwool pair I got. This will be a nice warm season sock.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice socks, great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Miller from Northeast on Thursday, January 25, 2018Much like my lower cut Smartwool socks but longer. I thought they'd be a little heavier because of the mountaineering designation. They fit well with my boot cut long underwear. I like the compression on my calves.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Terrible Packaging!Reviewed by Shelly from Mountains of Colorado on Monday, January 1, 2018I bought a few pair of socks as stocking stuffers. There was a giant sticker on each package that hid the size and type of sock, and it left a sticky residue when I removed it. Not suitable for gift giving at all! Due to these and other experiences, I'm done with STP. The quality of the items they're selling has gone way downhill over the years.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Winter SockVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Utah on Tuesday, November 21, 2017I’ve been a full time ski patroller in the Wasatch for 10 years and have gone through so many socks and I finally found a sock I love. This is it hands down. Any resort skiing, ski mountaineering, ice climbing, this is the only sock I use now. I have 7 pairs and I’m confident they’ll last many years.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great, but a little tightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wanting to camp more from California on Thursday, February 9, 2017I bought the extra large, and with a size 13 foot I found them very tight getting them on around the ankle. Otherwise the fit is good, and I like the design and the fit on the foot itself.
