Verified Buyer Reviewed by Februarysun from Oregon on Sunday, January 28, 2018Who would have thought! These socks are amazing! They are lightweight, durable, and fit like a glove. I bought these specifically for my runs and they have been a game changer. I have fat feet with high arches and have troubles getting my socks and shoes to feel comfortable and not blister around the seams. I can barely tell these socks are on. I definitely recommend these socks and for the price, Sierra Trading is a great place to purchase them.
Reviewed by evergreen from Colorado on Monday, January 22, 2018I love SmartWool socks and wear them for both hiking and running. These were a disappointment which is too bad because they match my shoes.
My fault - I should have paid attention to the fabric composition: 49% merino wool, 47% nylon, 4% elastane. These have too much nylon for me - not breathable enough and makes my feet slip around in my shoes. I prefer 65% or more wool content.
Not my fault - These are way too small. I ordered Medium which supposedly fits size 7-9 1/2. I wear shoe size 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 depending on the brand. After washing, these socks are uncomfortably small and pinch around the front of the ankle. I washed in cold and line dried. If you are on the high end of the size range, order the next size up.
