A great deal on STP!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alvaro B. from California on Friday, January 15, 2016Gave this to my wife for xmas as she's always cold. She loves the style and keeps her warm.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by WisconsinGal from Milwaukee on Wednesday, January 13, 2016I was really excited for this jacket and even more thrilled when I found it on sale. Admittedly, I am using it incorrectly (as a single layer rather than as a midlayer), but it does not disappoint.
My first reaction is that the lining is really soft and warm. It makes me enjoy wearing it. I am usually cold, but I live in Wisconsin (not a great combination). I wore it outside when it was around 5 degrees Fahrenheit and it actually kept me warm as long as I was moving. I have not tried it standing still.
It is heavier and less packable than down and insulated synthetic of similar price, but it is definitely warmer, which was really important to me. I think it will be good for backpacking, but I have not tried it.
The cut is not ideal and I wish it went down a little further to cover the top of my pants, but it's a good jacket and I can deal with a slightly less-flattering look.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kim from Illinois on Saturday, December 26, 2015Bought a large, I'm 5'8" 140lbs 36C and this fits really well. There's room to layer, without being too big or sloppy
Not as warm as I'd thought it would be after reading other reviews-so only 4 stars. Great jacket though!
