****Verified Buyer Reviewed by RR from Mt Baker Ski Area, WA on Wednesday, March 7, 2018I use for skiing. Great price and quality. I wear 6.5 women's shoe, and the medium fits perfect. The chart said a 6.5W should order a small. I do have larger than average muscles and bones. I am 5'3, 120lb. Socks go up to my knees., which is important to me. Ultra light (thin in any brand) are the best way to go for skiers. Con: Elastic too tight at top and compresses my calf more than I like. They are advertised as "a narrower profile for women" Next time I'll try men's. I prefer the fit of Bridgestone's, but none were in stock. My Bridgestone "ultra light" ski socks are more comfortable. They also go to my knees.
holy socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kate from Orlando on Tuesday, March 6, 2018We ordered these socks mid-January for my daughter to use for 2 trips to cold weather regions. We live in Orlando, so these socks were not worn on a daily basis, only during our travel. She had only worn the socks about 4 times when she got a hole in the toe. I expected a much better quality from socks this expensive....Disappointed
PerfectReviewed by DeweySki from NorCal on Thursday, December 21, 2017I have been wearing SmartWool's ultralight skis socks for a few years now, and these are perfect as always. Come up over the calf and stay there all day. I wear a women's 7.5 street shoe and can do a small or medium in SmartWool. For skis socks I go with the medium.
