Compression or no compression- that is the question?

The socks are well sized for my athletically shaped legs. How they would fit for larger, more muscular calves is a different question. I have not had a chance to try the socks during warm weather, but I suspect they woudl be suitable for at least two, maybe three, seasons. Compression would be useful for those with venous insufficiency; however, sizing would be difficult to estimate ahead of times. Certainly, on first use, they do what they are suppose to do- compress the lower legs effectively without causing loss of circulation.
