Best Socks....EVER

These feel like im wrapping my feet in a cocoon of snug kittens. Not as thick as the lorpen light hiker, im in Fla & ordered lightweight for a reason. These socks are amazing, I was turned on to them reading a comparison test. They wore these and many more for up to a week at a time in the Himalayas. The Phd's won, by a lot.....except for price. $23-$25 ?????? Im not Rockefeller, no way I could do it. Then I found this sight, got some diff brands, cheapest $4.63....better than ive ever worn. The lorpen were more and I could really tell they deserved it.....if I were hiking. Im not, mine are in combat boots (not avail in 4E, so no room for the Lorpens).

However, I called my parents, my Dad needed boot socks and I talked him into trying the $4.65 outdoor sock (67% merino wool) and he couldn't be happier. My Mom has be mainly bedridden, mainly leaving the house for dialysis, which chills her to the bone. (Lol, no luck getting them in the icebreaker merino wool shirts....yet. I have three and they are wonderful). Knowing she puts very little wear and tear on socks, so longevity will balance the cost over time, I suggested they splurge and get her the PHD's in heavyweight for house socks and dialysis. Approx $11.50 per, they were an instant hit. My Mom lives in them know. A week passed, I was looking thru the 85% discounts that arrive every few days in my email and sure enough I saw lightweight Phd's for $7.67 (approx, lots of meds, but I think im close). I got 2 pair and wasn't disappointed. These socks are worth $23-$25 every day of the week. Exceptionally comfortable and well made. Its a treat putting them on, feels like kittens are hugging your feet. .
