Hi ordered a bunch of different helmets to try on, varying in brand and in price. This was the winner and was the cheapest! Woohoo! I found it comfier than the more expensive Variance and Compass. I have a larger head for a female, and also like to wear an extra layer under my helmet and this works. It also worked with my goggles.

I got this helmet thinking it's been way too long since I protected myself. I wasn't sure how well it would insulate but the optional vents gave it promise meaning it might need ventilation. Sure enough on a sunny NC day of 36degrees I was opening the vents without a hat underneath. Mostly, I forgot I was wearing a helmet. Most people would pay this much for a regular hat, but now I also have protection. The other upside is the concern of looking stupid, but as it turns out, there's probably at least 30% of everyone on the mountain wearing a helmet now that they are more affordable.

My husband selected this helmet and wore it for an entire ski season. No concern were noted. Worked well for him.

was too small for 21 inch head so was returned without use. disappointed because had lots of much needed ventilation.
  • Nice looking helmet, pretty comfortable

Haven't used it skiing yet so can't attest to its performance. I will say it's much less padded than one's we have owned previously. Padded about the same as a basic bike helmet, so would have liked to see more there. But overall, not bad for the money.
