The Smith Lowdown XLs are great twist to the classic wayfarer look. As the XL name implies, they're larger frames which is perfect since I have a bigger head. These were large squarish sunglasses and looked absolutely ridiculous on me. Not flattering at all. I did not think twice about returning them. Also, they were not a true red which I had expected. It's very rare that I return items because, in general, it's a pain to do so. However, I knew I'd never wear these ugly glasses.

The Smith Lowdown XLs are great twist to the classic wayfarer look. As the XL name implies, they're larger frames which is perfect since I have a bigger head. I got the tortoise frames with the green mirror lenses and they're a fresh look for around town. The frames are nice and light and the lenses offer some pretty good protection and clarity. Just a heads up, these lenses aren't polarized, not that it says they are in the description, but they do still block 100% UV. Hopefully STP will carry these frames with chromapop lenses, I'll be all over that.

I'm really digging on these shades. They are an oversized frame of the classic style. They are extremely lightweight, which makes them very comfortable too. The lenses are very clear and I like the tint for these all white winter days in the mitten.

Both of my teenage daughters saw them and said, "Dad, I like your new glasses!" Coming from them, that means something.
