Size Up, and They're PerfectReviewed by Brittany from North Carolina on Wednesday, August 15, 2018I've tried countless styles of Evolves and none fit my narrow feet well. Many other shoe brands aren't an option for me because they all use leather which I don't wear, or they only have 1 style option. SoiLL's shoes fit me best, hands down, and I love their entire brand is leather-free.
I own these and the LV Street Shoes. In comparison, I love the padded tongue and extra strap on these, giving them a more comfortable and tighter fit. You definitely do need to size up. For reference, I wear a 6 street size and wear a 7.5 in these for an aggressive fit (Yes I tried the 7's, and they were far too tight- keep in mind, synthetic doesn't stretch much at all). If you have narrow feet or are just looking to try a new shoe, I'd highly recommend giving SoiLL's a chance.
Preliminary AssessmentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pegasus from California on Friday, August 10, 2018So I used these shoes at our local gym last night and they're very nice! First, sizing: I ordered a 10 based on other reviews. I wear a woman's 9.5 in running or hiking shoes, and a 9 in street shoes. The size is spot on. I took them off while belaying yesterday and my feet weren't destroyed but the shoes are tight and will take a little breaking in. I wouldn't have wanted them any larger for the long term and I wouldn't want them smaller although some of the crushers might go down a half size.
Next, quality control: The left shoe is visibly smaller than the right shoe! Luckily, my left foot is slightly smaller than my right foot but had it been the other way around, I would have sent them back. Third, comfort: I LOVE all the padding. Also, the toe box is wider than some, without being sloppy, so the shoe fits my wider foot a lot better than most climbing shoes. Fourth, performance: I've had more aggressively styled shoes like this before and they really do make a difference on what you can stand on. It feels like cheating, a little bit, but I'm looking forward to hitting thin edges and pockets with these!
Im a fan so far!Verified Buyer Reviewed by climbmilc from Illinois on Saturday, July 28, 2018Had to return the size 10's (street size 9.5) because they were extremely tight (and I like tight shoes). Got the 10.5's and they're still a little too tight but with a bit of stretching they should be fine.
High Quality but confusing sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Labo from Tbilisi on Monday, July 16, 2018The quality of shoes is really high, but the sizing is confusing. Advising to buy 1/2 size larger then your regular street shoes.
I haven't used them but I gave them to my friend and she likes is really much. We are regular climbers and have used tones of climbing shoes. She knows the stuff :)
If you buy the right size for your feet, the shoes is really good.
Way too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Matt from Tennessee on Wednesday, June 6, 2018Too small, at least a full size small, returning.
Good but run VERY smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Washington on Monday, May 28, 2018Great quality shoe, however my wife wears a 9 so we ordered a 10 and it was still way too small for her.
Too Small & painfulVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gabs from California on Wednesday, May 23, 2018I ordered these 2 sizes bigger than what I usually wear and they still did not fit! I understand climbing shoes have to fit snug but these were unbearable, I couldn't even stand up in them let alone walk. The velcro is a nice touch and the downturned toe "would" have been nice if they had fit. Make sure this is the type of shoe you need for the type of climbing you will be doing because they are "aggressive" rather than a moderate fit. Also, I recommend to cross reference other cites for accurate sizing-perhaps order 2 pairs to compare.
Good but very smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Washington on Monday, May 21, 2018The quality of these shoes are fantastic. However wife is a size 9 and unfortunately both the 9 and 10 were too small for her.
Love themVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nicole the climber from Florida on Wednesday, May 16, 2018I ordered very large shoes and they fit great. I love them. They're the first aggressive climbing shoes that don't hurt.
Odd sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by MarHerTX from Texas on Thursday, April 19, 2018This is the strangest shoe I have ever worked with. So iLL ask that you size up for performance fit. Normally you size down with climbing shoes. I wear a street 9 and ordered a 9.5. I exchanged them for a 10. The 9.5 was still too sung. If you buy any of their shoes I recommend you size up a full size if you a girl.
