High Quality but confusing sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Labo from Tbilisi on Monday, July 16, 2018The quality of shoes is really high, but the sizing is confusing. Advising to buy 1/2 size larger then your regular street shoes.
I haven't used them but I gave them to my friend and she likes is really much. We are regular climbers and have used tones of climbing shoes. She knows the stuff :)
If you buy the right size for your feet, the shoes is really good.
Way too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Matt from Tennessee on Wednesday, June 6, 2018Too small, at least a full size small, returning.
Good but run VERY smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Washington on Monday, May 28, 2018Great quality shoe, however my wife wears a 9 so we ordered a 10 and it was still way too small for her.
Too Small & painfulVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gabs from California on Wednesday, May 23, 2018I ordered these 2 sizes bigger than what I usually wear and they still did not fit! I understand climbing shoes have to fit snug but these were unbearable, I couldn't even stand up in them let alone walk. The velcro is a nice touch and the downturned toe "would" have been nice if they had fit. Make sure this is the type of shoe you need for the type of climbing you will be doing because they are "aggressive" rather than a moderate fit. Also, I recommend to cross reference other cites for accurate sizing-perhaps order 2 pairs to compare.
Good but very smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Washington on Monday, May 21, 2018The quality of these shoes are fantastic. However wife is a size 9 and unfortunately both the 9 and 10 were too small for her.
Love themVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nicole the climber from Florida on Wednesday, May 16, 2018I ordered very large shoes and they fit great. I love them. They're the first aggressive climbing shoes that don't hurt.
Odd sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by MarHerTX from Texas on Thursday, April 19, 2018This is the strangest shoe I have ever worked with. So iLL ask that you size up for performance fit. Normally you size down with climbing shoes. I wear a street 9 and ordered a 9.5. I exchanged them for a 10. The 9.5 was still too sung. If you buy any of their shoes I recommend you size up a full size if you a girl.
Awesome shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Monica from Indiana on Thursday, April 19, 2018Definitely run very small. I usually wear a street shoe 8.5, running shoes 9, and I had to order these in a size 10. But once I found the right fit, I love the way these feel. And obviously they look great too :)
Comfortable but run smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by trifarahtops from California on Monday, March 26, 2018I wear a size 8 in street shoes and initially ordered an 8.5 as recommended by the So iLL sizing guide. The shoes were very tight and since they're synthetic were unlikely to stretch, so I went ahead an exchanged them for the half size up. The exchange process was super easy and the size 9s fit perfectly. For the price, these are a good introduction to a more aggressive shoe for bouldering and indoor sport climbs. As a reference, my other pair of shoes are a size 38 La Sportiva Finale that fit rather snug even after a year of regular wear.
So far a good aggressive shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ryan from Texas on Thursday, March 8, 2018Having bought The Runner a half size smaller than I normally would (8.5 street shoe men, 9.5 The Runner women), it does feel a bit tight but not painful. For a more comfortable fit I would go true to size. No slippage as the rubber is rather sticky, but soft at the same time so if you aren't precise with movements, it may wear down faster. Overall great shoe for the price. Would buy again for sport/indoor bouldering.
