It's just that the fabric Twill (65% polyester, 35% cotton) feels shiny and stiff, and attracts a lot of static, dust, etc. I was thinking of more of a cotton like feel rather than polyester feel when I ordered it. It's probably that way to make it wrinkle-resistant.

These are nice pants that fall into a strange niche. They are cut like Dockers, chinos, etc. casual pants, but are made from a heavier, tougher fabric than I've ever seen. They look and fit great; due to that tough fabric they will likely last for ever.

They feel tough and look great, could be used as work pants in a no-jeans-allowed workplace. -

I would not have purchased had I known they were slim fit, but I'll keep them for lighter days when no bending & squatting is involved. Cheers!
