I really loved it overall but its true to size. I bought it half size down for perfect fit but then it is too tight.

True to their sizing; I wear 9.5 but order 9 in Sorel. I loved everything about these, but they weren't my color scheme. That was the only issue, and it's not even a real issue. I just have a more black-based wardrobe and these are perfect for a brown/natural-based look. I like Sorels felt lined boots, as they're much easier that socked boots. Thanks Sierra, for the easy exchange; Mad Mukluks....they're my second pair and very handsome, too.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
