These are the most comfortable boots I own. They feel like muck boots without the weight. Super comfortable. I believe they are water proof based on reviews and descriptions from Sorel's website, and they definitely run a size larger. Every pair of muck boots I own are 11s and fit perfectly. I read ... The fit is awesome. Water resistant, and super warm....but be sure to order a full size down

I love this boot. I had a similar pair years ago with fur lining and love the style. They are quite comfortable and well made. I have not worn them long, but expect them to wear well. Following advice in other reviews, I ordered an 8, although I normally wear an 8.5.

I am a size 10; these boot fit a little large, I would have ordered a half size down if I could. However, some slightly thick sox seem to make it all good and they are still surprisingly comfortable.

I really like the gumshoe sole, it's very soft and super quiet.

The leather, while not thick, is very high quality and beautifully tanned. Stitching and overall build quality appear top notch but time will tell about that as well as how they wear.

I wasn't sure about the look of them, but upon arrival I like it a lot; I think they look very modern and forward, but was reading that these are originally from Sorel's 1970's catalog.

These boots are not insulated at all, but that is a plus for me as I live in a temperate climate.

Received these boots quickly and they fit perfectly. Butter soft leather and well built, except for the cheap insoles, which were paper thin. I had,on hand,a more substantial pair of insoles which I exchanged for those provided, and then the boots rated five stars. Would buy them again.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
