I purchased this coat for a general kick around town jacket, something different from the north face or mountain hardwear stuff that I own. When I received the coat I was very happy with the quality and heavy duty construction of it...top notch probably over and above that of carhartt. The coat is v... Read More

Large warm coat. Impressed with Sorel products and insulation for the price. Jacket shrank a bit after a wash but still feels big in chest. Long body length like barn coat vs. shorter work coat. Several funky small pockets not really practical.

This is a really well made coat. Originally ordered a size smaller due to other reviews stating how large these ran. Had to exchange it for my regular size. New one fits just fine.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
