I got these boots a few weeks ago, and I haven't stopped wearing them since. I love them, and they are crazy comfortable right out of the box. I wore them to the Tanner Gun show the day after I received them from UPS...700 tables and 12,000 sq ft of vendors and booths. I spent all day walking around... Read More

Really like the boots with the one glaring exception. They are not waterproof. They leak like a sieve from the seam along the toe.

I tried several lower rise boots and a few higher until I settled with these. The gusset on the tongue only comes up about half way - so waterproof?... well, We'll see. They actually feel so nice (once broken in) and look good enough that I decided to try not wearing them in the nasty weather. - Plus they're about as high as basketball sneakers - the snows been too deep for that.

I wear a size 11 asics or brooks sneaker. A size 10 in these boots with half-way thick socks and the fit is great. I also have a normal foot - it's not wide or narrow and it has a medium arch - these work great, sorel will be my boot brand from here out until I can justify spending more time and money finding a really good pair of expensive boots.

    I'd give them a Solid B- C+ grade.

When first ordering these boots, I originally felt hesitant about their looks, specifically the plaid and canvans sections of the exterior. When I received mine, however, I realized that they look great with jeans, great with chinos, and were just an overall great buy. Pretty true to size. For those without cars, these type of boots are great for commuting and are comfortable for walking (with a fairly low break in period).

Needs to be worn with some mid-calf socks, possibly even with wool socks because the boots rub the back of the heel.

  • “When will these be back in stock?”

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
