Great winter boots, warm enough to brave the elements, but low profile enough to wear with jeans. Great product, highly recommended.

Purchased these boots in April 2013, so didn't get to use them until Fall. They were great, comfortable and waterproof, but I just put them on for the first time in 2014 (December) and they leak. I stepped in a puddle walking the dog. There's a crack in the seal around the sole on both boots, water gets right in. I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, I need boots that are waterproof. Because of when I purchased them, they are not under warranty anymore with Sorel. I wish I hadn't spent $125 on a pair of boots that only lasts one rainy season. This was my first pair of Sorels and I won't be purchasing this brand again.

these boots are the first sorel brand i've bought and i'm very happy with them. completely water proof and the inner layer keeps my feet warm, i would suggest getting wool socks to wear with them however below 30 degrees and the rubber at the toe gets cold.

I ordered my usual size in men's shoes (7), and they fit fine. So far, I've only worn them once with medium weight knee socks, but I went through 2-inch puddles of melting snow and ice, so they're waterproof at the bottom. I'm looking forward to wearing them next winter in at least a half foot of snow.

excellent boots, it's not heavily insulated but warm enough for NY, esp with thick socks. I usually wear 8.5 and bought 8.5. Perhaps 1/4 big but not a big deal.

Bought these for my husband who walks to work. He loves they way they look and said they were comfortable right out of the box. Waterproof and warm, perfect for our horrible Chicago winter.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
