I have wanted a pair of Sorels for so long and they were over $100 on every web site. What a price! For a great fitting great looking mud boot. I live in Maine and we wear mud boots 75% of the time so its nice to have one that's so good looking and comfortable. If you have a high arch you might not ... Read More

I loved the look of these boots, but I ordered my regular size (6) and they boots felt like they fit more like a 7. They seemed to be very high quality though, and I would have ordered again if they had been available in a size 5 and the color I wanted. They were flexible, yet sturdy. Order a size down, especially if you are a half size.

I'd been looking for a good rainboot to help me through Seattle's misty winter - loved the cheery color of the orange/brown boot but hesitated to purchase it online because they didn't have my regular size (8), they only had a size 7. Very glad I took the chance because even the 7 is almost too big unless I wear heavier socks. Very comfortable boot that I can tuck my pants into and seems durable after a few months of wear.

The boots were exactly what I was seraching for! I was looking for a perfect pain of rain boots to keep my feet dry and warm during the commute to and from work and occasional weekend activities. The boots have kept my feet very warm and dry during wet weather days. The only slight complaint is, the opening at the top of the boot is a tad small and with a larger calf it is a little tight. But I would highly recommend these to someone looking for a good and sturdy pair of boots.

Very good rain boots. Fit true to size and are sturdy and well made. Lots of comments from others liking the look of the boots.

These boots are a fun, funky, retro kinda rain boot and reminded me of some old boots I had as a kid so I ordered them to replace a $12 pair of rubber boots from the hardware store. Sadly, my $12 hardware store boots fit better than these. The "shoe" part is a fine fit but I had to return the first pair because they were way too big. I wear a 6.5-7, ordered a 7 and ended up exchanging for a 6 which is still plenty roomy. The ankle and calf are a little funky though. The ankle is super wide and floppy (it almost bunches up when I walk) and the top around the calf is pretty snug. I have a hard time fitting tights or skinny jeans under them comfortably (my calfs aren't huge but I'm a cyclist, runner, skier so they're not sticks either). If the ankle and calf were just a bit more tailored and made of a slightly stiffer rubber they'd be bomber but the flexing/flopping while I walk is a little awkward. That said, they're cute and it's raining so I'll keep em!
    • Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mud, Rain
    • Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit, Floppy Anklecalf, Poor Fit, Too tight around calf
    • Describe Yourself: Awesome
    • Pros: Cute, Durable
    • Sizing: Feels full size too big
    • Width: Feels true to width

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
