These are great looking boots that serve my needs, walking in snowy slush, however the fit is strange. The left boot is too big in the length, the right boot is tight in the instep and difficult to get on & off. I kept them because I needed them for a ski trip. If you can get a pair that fits properly I would recommend them.

They're a little narrow, but as I'm wearing them they're loosening up. They look great- I've been getting complimented by strangers.

I bought these to work at animal shelter in cold weather. I needed something water proof while spraying down kennels and walking dogs outside in snow. They also needed to be insulated for walks too. I wanted something that looked cool and was different.Just cuse I will be working with poo doesnt mean I want shoes that look like it too.
These fit the bill on paper.
They arrive quickly I was excited. They looked awesome (even thou I wanted the red which werent available) the soles looked like they would do good and they seemed well insulated.
Unfortunately I have extremely high arches and couldnt even get my foot in. Something I run into a lot when boot shopping. My toes couldnt even make the turn into the shoe. I opened the little bands up all the way but no luck. Even having ordered up 1/2 a size my foot remained vertical in the boot.
I'm sure people w/out crazy high arches would love these.

Runs small. My size is 6 so I ordered a half size up and were still very small. The boots are cute.

Asked by jet from WV on 9/12/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • Sorry but Sorel did not give these boots a temperature comfort rating, but with 100 grams of thinsulate they should be warm in most cold climates.

Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 9/1/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • No, although these are insulated and waterproof, they are only 9" in height, which would mean that a foot of snow may be able to come over the top.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
