I ordered the suit in my *regular* size and it was simply too big. Perhaps I am in the minority that I like my bathing suits to fit like a second skin and keep things from moving around, but this just overall felt too large and was unflattering because the ruching actually added bulk around the middle. However, I do love the lines and quality of the suit, so I have ordered a smaller size and hope it will be what I am looking for!

Once I sewed up the cleavage "V" a bit, this is an attractive, practical suit for swimming, but it seems that while the chest runs a bit big, and low(!) the waist and hips run a bit small, so it is not as comfortable as I'd hoped (this size 14 (same brand) seems longer than my old 12, but no wider in hips and waist). Had to remove bust inserts as they slipped around & folded up just getting in & out of suit.
    • Best Uses: Good once sewed up a bit
    • Cons: Bust inserts poor design, Cleavage, Poor Fit
    • Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish
    • Fit: Feels true to size
    • Pros: Good for large bust

This the color of my dream swimsuit. The midriff shirring is the body style of my dream swimsuit. The high quality fabric that feels like it'd last forever is the fabric my dream swimsuit. I loved it in the picture so much that, after I read the negative reviews, I said, what the heck - it has SO much going for it to be my dream swimsuit! I almost ordered two!

The too-low-to-wear-in-public-unless-you-have-tiny-or-no-breasts neckline is why I, too, have returned this, SO close to my dream swimsuit.
    • Cons: PLUNGING neckline
    • Describe Yourself: Athletic, Stylish
    • Fit: Feels true to size
    • Pros: Good Fit, Gorgeous color

Didn't work for me. The compression and tummy control were nice, and the leg opening hit at the right place... but the bust was so shaped and so big that it actually stood up and out about and inch and a half from my chest. This is surprising because I am fairly proportionate, and as a 38C/D I usually don't have trouble filling out the top of anything.
    Had to send it back...

About Speedo

A household name in most countries, Speedo has grown from modest roots into the world’s preeminent name in performance swimwear. Founded by Scottish immigrant Alexander MacRae in 1914 as a knitting mill, the Speedo line of swimwear captured its first trophy in a competition held in 1928. Since then, Speedos have won more swimming events than any other brand, worn by 52 out of 54 competing countries in the Montreal Olympics. Not just for athletes, form-hugging suits in vibrant colors and eye-catching patterns are seen poolside and at beaches around the world. Fabric innovations make their suits resistant to chlorine and mildew while giving them excellent recovery properties.
