4.0 out of 5 stars. Great looking, but not warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from CA on Thursday, January 25, 2018Recently purchased these and put them to the test with a trip to Iceland. Temperatures were ranging from mid 20's to mid 30's for the whole week I was there, with plenty of snow and and ice. Plenty of pros about the shoe and could only find one con.
Pros:
- The style and look of the boots
- Waterproof
- Very comfortable, did not take long for them to be worn in
- Comfortable walking on ice
Con:
- Not warm on its own (had to add 2-3 layers of wool socks) -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very good boot for the priceReviewed by Todd from Ohio on Friday, January 19, 2018For the price, these boots are quite nice. Not surprising from Sperry. I usually wear a 9.5 in most shoes and ordered the same. Fit is pretty good other than being a little snug across the arch, but I have higher than average arches. I'm hoping they stretch a little over time. The snow and wet surface traction is awesome! Be aware the pictures appear that these boots are black lowers, but they are navy blue. Not a big deal, but worth noting.

5.0 out of 5 stars. For the price, Great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Randy from Idaho on Thursday, January 18, 2018At the clearance price these are a steal.
At retail prices the quality is not great... cheap looking stitching and the rubber where it's glued is sort of uneven... could be these are seconds. Still though they have held up fine so far.
I ordered up a size and I would recommend that you do, that way I can wear heavy wool socks with them and the fit is perfect.
With very thick socks, I would guess these can do 0 degrees active/20 degree inactive. The artic grip works much better than standard rubber. It is basically sandpaper. Still on ice you need to be careful it't not totally slip proof. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great product.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lee B from Worcester, MA on Wednesday, January 3, 2018I live in Massachusetts where vibram is made. We have had snow, ice, and extreme cold in the last month. I usually wear stabilicers on my shoes but it's a pain at times. These boots are fantastic on all surfaces. You still need thermal socks to keep warm. I wear 11w normally and i ordered 11 size. They fit perfectly...i liked them so much, i ordered another pair because of the price....it's a steal. Quality of sperry is on par with merrell, vasque which is what i usually own.
