Reviewed by Colton from Missouri on Wednesday, February 28, 2018
**ATTENTION** I left a review earlier about these pants but could not see a way to edit. I have taken these on a few trips and love them. Fit amazing, as you can see in my other review, they are comfortable, and look good! When you receive these pants the pockets will be sown shut in the back, just ... Read More

  • I love these

Look the pockets are sewn and you can easily opened the threads. These are a bit slim, but not overly so. The pants have a great feel to them. I like em.

I wish they had more colors cause I would buy them.
  • Good Fit, but

Back pockets were seen shut, so I returned them. If they had been cheaper, I would have just slit them open.
  • Zip-offs

Decent zip-offs that had back pockets sewed shut as noted in reviews before ordering. Very easy to remove stitching with no negative impacts. These run a little tighter than preferred but also stretch to allow for ease of movement.

i do not know why manufactures sew the pockets closed. but, i have gotten dress pants and sport coats from suit shops before that were also sewn together. sometimes the pants. sometimes the jackets. just depends on the brands. seems to be a higher end thing. the jackets and slacks were a bit on the expensive end. non the less. cut the threads. nothing worth complaining about.
  • The exposed zippers on the legs are pretty unforgivable.
Reviewed by SJS from NYC on Tuesday, April 17, 2018
How on earth could the manufacturer have thought it was OK to leave the leg zippers exposed, so they’d rub against one’s legs? All they’d’ve needed to do is sew a strip of fabric on to guard your skin. I guess they were too cheap to bother. Anyway, I returned these pants, which I had bought for my fiancé, as a result. He said the zipper issue made them really uncomfortable.

(Also, FYI, the pants seem to run slightly big, and they have a large creepy-looking black widow spider logo on the leg, which he also wasn’t into.)

About Spyder

Thanks to its innovative approach to design, the Spyder ski wear brand has become one of the most well-known snowsport apparel companies in the world. Spyder jackets, ski pants, base layers and accessories provide outstanding weather protection in harsh alpine conditions and frequently include built-in extras like zip-out powder skirts, strategic venting, integrated electronic-compatible features and much more. The company name actually originates from its first pair of race pants, which included striped yellow pads on the exterior. This design led racers to refer to them as Spyder pants, and the name stuck. Since that time, Spyder jackets, pants and accessories have become increasingly more advanced and stylish. Suit up, have a blast and look great doing it with high-performance ski wear from Spyder.
