5.0 out of 5 stars. So far, so good

Propulsion pants, size XL, in Sulphur. I'm 5'8", about 175lbs. Previous pants were North Face Cargo Fargo's in size large. Chose the XL size based on the comments here. Right choice for length and the waist adjustment tabs/velcro fasteners work for dialing in the fit. Initially thought the fit on the thighs was a little snug, that seems to have relaxed with use. Used them twice. First day with just a single base layer, bluebird with temps in upper twenties, was warm enough after the first run. Noticed some cold seeping through the vent zippers when on the lift. Second day, base layer with light fleece mid-layer pants, snowing, temps in the mid teens with single digit wind chill, was plenty warm. Didn't notice any cold seepage with the extra layer. Haven't had them in wet snowfall or rain so can't speak to waterproof rating. Breathability seems good for an insulated pant. I like the bright colorway. So far, happy with purchase.

Bought XL for husband 6'1" 190lbs normally wears large in ski pants. Worried they might be too big. He couldn't even button them up. Now I have to pay 6$ to return them due to inaccurate sizing. Big draw back at stp and why I don't shop here more.

About Spyder

Thanks to its innovative approach to design, the Spyder ski wear brand has become one of the most well-known snowsport apparel companies in the world. Spyder jackets, ski pants, base layers and accessories provide outstanding weather protection in harsh alpine conditions and frequently include built-in extras like zip-out powder skirts, strategic venting, integrated electronic-compatible features and much more. The company name actually originates from its first pair of race pants, which included striped yellow pads on the exterior. This design led racers to refer to them as Spyder pants, and the name stuck. Since that time, Spyder jackets, pants and accessories have become increasingly more advanced and stylish. Suit up, have a blast and look great doing it with high-performance ski wear from Spyder.
