Reviewed by Mitchy-Boy from Washington State on Wednesday, December 18, 2013I was searching for a waterproof, warm coat that didn’t make me look like the Stay Puff Man (which a previously purchased and subsequently returned Mountain Hardware jacket did). This coat is super warm, appears to be waterproof (though not thoroughly tested yet and it’s nice and trim. The pockets are a little small but warm and cozy. The only drawbacks are the fact that the collar sticks up a bit so when you are sitting down and the coat is a bit bunched up it about pokes you in the eye (but on the plus side, when zipped all the way up, it’ll definitely keep you warm and dry). The other slight downside would be the red trim and the Spyder insignias and logo make it a bit garish. But I’ve been search for a coat like this for a long while now and it’s a keeper!
Reviewed by outerwear nut from kansas on Tuesday, December 3, 2013This coat is really good looking on a trim guy. The blue is awesome color and coat is soft and foldable. My son has only used it for the month of November in Chicago but already says its better than the wool pea coat he had. It goes down far enough for extra warmth but not too far to look geeky. Only has one pocket on the interior if that's a big deal for you. Neck area is also soft and non abrasive. Great coat.
Reviewed by Rob from NY on Monday, November 4, 2013Fits great, good quality all around. Almost makes me look forward to winter (almost).
Reviewed by deedub from Las Vegas on Friday, November 1, 2013The fit of this jacket is on the slim size of XXL. I'm 6'7," 260 lbs and the width fits just fine. Based on the website photo, the length appeared to be a few inches longer than it is, but the jacket length is fine.

The logos are not embroidered on the jacket they are a hard gunmetal colored logos. One is the spyder name on the shoulder back and the other is the black widow spider logo on the upper sleeve.
“With no reviews to guide real-life fit, can you comment on the sizing of this jacket? Is the sizing chart accurate. I've never worn a medium in my life, but chart says that's what fits me. (5 11.5 and 180lbs). ”
I'll answer my own question now that I bought it. I usually wear a large, and this large is just right. 6ft 175-180 with long arms.
