Stanley products are not what they used to be. This cup keeps my coffee warm slightly longer than a ceramic mug from my kitchen. I also can barely unscrew the cap without the 2 sections coming apart. The hook is handy, and the lid does prevent spillage when it gets knocked over in the car (which happens frequently due to the shape of the cup), but if you want a cup that keeps your drink warm, plan on spending a little more and getting something of better quality.

So far so good! First day using it for my hot tea in the morning. Definitely more leak-proof than my previous mugs, and excited for dishwasher compatibility. Keeps tea mostly warm for about 2 hours, but not as long as a fully insulated mug. Shape is nice, but rattles around a little in the cup holder of my car because of the tall/skinny shape.

This mug is well made, has a leak-proof lid and some cool features but.... it doesn't really keep things warm. The exterior metal skin can be removed so that the inner cup can be microwaved, if your microwave is tall enough to accommodate its height, but that design sacrifices insulating ability.

I was looking for a cup to carry in my backpack to take to class with me. really like the drink through lid, and the little loop for carrying it. I went back to buy a second one and they were out of stock. can't wait to try it out camping and traveling.
