5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent product

Very warm and stylish item. Sleeves appear too long - but they can be turned up and resemble large cuffs - great for cold weather and protecting wrists and hands.

I so wanted this jacket because I was planning on wearing it in Austria. Unfortunately, it just didn't fit me right. The body was a bit short and the sleeves seemed especially long. I just couldn't make it work.

About Stapf of Tyrolean Alps

Crafted in the breathtaking Tyrolean Alps of Austria, Stapf (and its sister company, Wesenjak) is rooted in the history of the region. Stapf's signature boiled wool processing method begins with a loose weave that is pre-shrunk in natural spring water so that the fibers crimp together and create a wonderful barrier against cold and wind. Stapf produces finely crafted wool jackets, vests and slippers. With crowd pleasers like etched metal buttons, decorative welt pockets and the classic boucle look, Stapf typifies old world style and charm, and lends sincerity and appeal to that "relaxing by the fire" après-ski ambience.
