Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Lisa in snow from North Grafton, MA on Monday, December 30, 2013Really well made sweater. Which is really what it is. And just what I was looking for. Guess it's called a coat because it is long. I have been looking for something like this for a few years, one that wasn't going to be four to five hundred dollars. This one does retail for that but thanks to STP I could afford this. Beautiful, alpaca & wool fabric, made in Peru. So happy.
Reviewed by Cyber_Pixy from Southern Oregon on Friday, September 20, 2013This coat has a fantastic design! the high color when zipped all the way up has a very chic look, when zipped down the color folds over to have a wide lappel look and even looks ok unzipped and loose. The sheer ribbon trim feels very dressy. Nice hand warmer pockets, but won't hold much more than a hanky or a cell phone. I love the look of this and it feels very classy. The only down sides I can see are two things. One, it is unlined and it leaves alpaca hair on your clothes, especial white things. I'm hoping that will be reduced after it is cleaned. Two, it has narrow sleeves, which is fine for me as I am what is concidered "lanky", however if you have filled out arms, this may be a little snug for you. Because of the narrow sleeves, wearing long sleeves underneath can be a little bunched up. I grab my long sleeve and hold onto it as I put my arm into tthe coat sleeve and that seems to work. Other than that, this is a great looking coat and I really like it. The fact that it is unlined is the main reason I did not give it a 5 star rating.
Reviewed by Me from Puerto Rico on Thursday, September 19, 2013nice fit, hope it keeps me warm, this winter. Surprise, it has no lining.
Reviewed by Husker4 from Nebraska on Monday, September 16, 2013This is a lovely coat, very heavy and warm. That all said, it doesn't have a lot of drape, so it makes a bit more of a statement that a typical wool coat. I usually wear a small in coats and I would say this runs pretty trim, but only in the arms. I think this would be a perfect wear-to-work coat.
