Its half-zip makes it easy on/off and allows it to be a turtleneck or v-neck top for comfort in a range of conditions. My only qualms are that it is cut a little snug (although I can still wear a light long-sleeve shirt underneath) and the sleeves aren't long enough to use the thumbhole loops. I'm a petite and average sleeves are always too long on me, but it's uncomfortable to use the thumbholes. I'd probably never use the thumbholes anyway so this wasn't a deal breaker, but they do bulge open so I'll sew them shut.
