Reviewed by Kaatskills Kate from Central NYS and Manhattan too on Thursday, July 18, 2013It works! So pleased that I got every color -- great 3-season basic. Reminds me of Norma Kamali's rah-rah skirts from the early 80's, full and fluid and easy to wear. Don't get me wrong, this model has none of Norma's perfectly-tuned pizzazz, but it's a surprisingly serviceable, swingy little skirt that covers bulges and dresses up or down. Nice fabric for the price -- cotton jersey , medium weight, not too much for summer weather. but will move into fall. Sizing: I am a curvy hour-glass 12-14 regular (not a plus-size "W") I read the other reviews warning about crazy sizing, and they're right, these skirts run small for what they're marked. Decided to take a chance on 12-14 W , which fits my 31" waist and 42-" hips just fine. Some very slight difference in length depending on color. The blue's a little shorter, black's a little longer but not to the point of being frumpy. I'll get a lot of mileage from these $7 skirts
Reviewed by desertcastaway from AZ on Monday, July 1, 2013Nice skirt. I ordered originally in regular length even though I'm 5'2" but it was not long enough to be below-calf length, so I re-ordered the petite. It hits just below my knee and is very cute. The fabric is thick enough that I think it could pass for a winter skirt, but it's full enough so I don't think it will be too hot for summer. Waist fits smoothly, although it would be better if the hidden elastic were at least tacked down. Easy enough to do that myself if it's a problem.
Reviewed by ShellBellNC from NC on Wednesday, June 26, 2013This is a comfortable black skirt, the fabric is soft and it has a comfy elastic waist. The waist did tend to roll up a bit because it's not tacked down to keep it from doing so, but when you roll it back under once it's on it seems to stay, I might put a few stitches on the sides to remedy the situation, but it's really not a biog deal, especially at this price point.
Reviewed by D.Pete from St. Louis on Friday, June 21, 2013looks like it fits well. The waist band is a little unruly but still a very fine garment at a low price
Reviewed by Mia from Salt Lake City, UT on Monday, June 17, 2013I took a chance on this when I ordered it because there were no other reviews at the time and I'm glad I did. The skirt is nothing particularly special style wise, but its a nice looking skirt that can be worn both casually and dressed up a bit. The material is a nice medium weight and drapes well. I was a little worried about the sizing because they said size P was a size 2 (my size) but it fits great (I'm 5'5" 110 lbs) and hits just below my knees. And at the price its a great deal and hard to beat. If I wore more navy or gray I would consider buying those colors too (I got the black).

“I want to order a medium size, but the only length available in that size is petite. How much short is the skirt if it is petite rather than regular and are there any other differences in the petite style other than length?”
The medium petite is 25" long as where the regular is 37" long.
