Tahari Cashmere Scrunch Nightshirt - 3/4 Sleeve

Just as described. I've been living in it since it arrived, because it's been c-c-c-cold here in NYC and Upstate New York where I spend weekends. It's not only comfortable but good-looking, so I can loaf around without looking like a slob. I ordered it in medium, and found the sleeves a little too l... Read More

This is the first wool I have ever been able to wear next to my skin! I'm allergic to wool (sheep' wool) and had my doubts as to whether I could even wear cashmere (goat's wool). But it's very soft, warm and cozy. Other than the mislabeling about sleeves and drawstrings (note below), it's great. It says "dry clean only", but I washed it on cold and "hand wash" setting in the machine and let it air dry. It was fine.

NOTE: The sleeves are NOT 3/4 length. As in the photo, they are normal length, and because I am petite, the sleeves hang down to my knuckles! Fine with me because it's a nightshirt.
Also, the "drawstrings" were for decoration only, and were just one string folded over and sewn on. I cut it off.

It looks exactly like the picture. This sweater runs large, the sleeves are full length (not 3/4), and the tie is pointless. Even so, I love it. It is a nice weight, extremely soft, warm and comfortable.

About Tahari

With less than a hundred dollars to his name, Elie Tahari moved to New York City from Israel in order to follow his dream of starting a business. After working a job at a clothing boutique in Greenwich Village in the early ‘70s, Tahari began designing his own clothing. Beginning with the original collection of Elie Tahari dresses, the still nascent clothing mogul soon became one of the first designers to open a boutique on the now-famous Madison Avenue in 1974. Today, with stores in New York, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Dallas and many more, Elie Tahari clothing has grown to become one of the most respected names in the designer apparel industry.
