4.0 out of 5 stars. Good for narrow hips

I debated ordering these pants, as some linens can feel scratchy. Pros: linen felt ok, not scratchy, but not very soft either. Color is nice loden green. Cons: Designed for people with narrow hips. I wear a reg 6, with 35" hips and 28" waist. These pants were a tad tight at the hips and loose at the waist, so the belt hangs too long, and there are stretch lines at the hip bone. I was sad to return.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Fair Quality

Love Tahari clothing...well made, classical pieces. Disappointed in quality of these. I am 5' 10", 155lbs and usually wear like size 8 and ordered size 10. Yes these were tight over the hips and wrinkled/ pulled at the crotch area ...didnt fit as pictured. I am sending back, not sizing up. I love linen clothing, it is hard to find good quality linen that will have structure, can be washing and can be ironed to sheen. This are very light weight and seem acid washed, soft but seem old and the seams have many loose threads....not quality or well fitting slacks.

I am in between sizes and the thigh was a little snug when I put them on. But since they are linen, in about 2 hours they were loose and comfortable through the seat and thigh

About Tahari

With less than a hundred dollars to his name, Elie Tahari moved to New York City from Israel in order to follow his dream of starting a business. After working a job at a clothing boutique in Greenwich Village in the early ‘70s, Tahari began designing his own clothing. Beginning with the original collection of Elie Tahari dresses, the still nascent clothing mogul soon became one of the first designers to open a boutique on the now-famous Madison Avenue in 1974. Today, with stores in New York, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Dallas and many more, Elie Tahari clothing has grown to become one of the most respected names in the designer apparel industry.
