These don't work very well will larger duck decoys. They work well with standard size decoys without frozen or soft sandy ground.

They are the goofiest lookin feet you can imagine, but I think they'll do the job. Heck of a lot more efficient way of getting water keel decoys out in a field and this should be enough to lift them off the ground and get them to show above the stubble. I don't really care about the orange, although, it is a LOT of orange.

Can't seem to find any more, or else I would buy them. Can't hurt.

This is a great product for turning your floating decoys into field decoys. Just attach to the keel and put the pin in the whole and push into the ground. Now these are plastic along with the stakes so they probably wouldn't work well with frozen ground. I gave them a 4 because they are kind of big and ridiculous looking kind of like something out of a cartoon but hey they do their job.

I haven't tried these gadgets in the field yet since I bought them after the season was over. But they look like they might work, especially if the ground is not frozen and the wind is not whipping. So I really don't know how to rate them yet. If possible, I will return after the next hunting season (2014) with a more experienced rating. That is why I gave them a 3-star rating at present. I hope to be able to give them more stars next Fall.

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. About Tanglefree

The Tanglefree story began during the 1971 California duck season. Jack and Dan Kiernan were using 200 wooden decoys, each anchored with a nylon rope and weight. To prevent the ropes from tangling, each decoy had to be collected and slowly loaded into the boat. After seeing another hunter quickly tossing decoys into his boat, the Kiernans asked him what his secret was and learned that he used tubing instead of rope. The concept soon resulted in the creation of Tanglefree tubular decoy line, which hit the market in 1972 and was patented a year later. Recently, the brand has expanded its product line to include decoys, waterfowl blinds and a wide range of accessories. Give yourself an edge this hunting season with Tanglefree decoys and the original Tanglefree decoy line.
