This jacket is perfect for cool breezy conditions to 30 degree range, IMO. Breathes well and prevents overheating.

It's hard to get really excited or emotional about a jacket. The sizing is correct. It is impervious to the wind and repels rain, except at the seams. Although this is not a rain jacket, it is an all purpose jacket, ie: outer layer, under layer, and weather and cold protection.
Instead of spending three to four times the money, I purchased it as my fall and winter cycling jacket because of its features and the cut of the jacket. When sitting or bending over, this jacket protects that plumbers crack from being exposed to the elements. For the money, I'm happy with the purchase, can't complain.

This jacket is cut shorter in the front and longer in the back. It's a lot like a cycling cut. No bunching leaning forward and there won't be a gap in the back.

Ok, here's the deal on the sizing. The jacket has an athletic cut, if not almost a cycling cut. It's a tad shorter on the front and longer in the rear as to allow you to bend over/ lean forward with out bunching and a drop tail to cover the gappage. Lot's of room in the shoulders. That guy confused me w/ saying the jacket was too short and I almost changed the order to a larger size. Unless you have quite the beer belly, order your normal size.
