Verified Buyer Reviewed by Run Mom Run from Aliso Viejo, CA on Monday, February 11, 2013My fault that I bought a half size too small, exchanging. But these are AMAZING racing boots. Even more amazing price. Stiff, responsive, highly adjustable. Sure to sell out quickly. Can't believe I stumbled on such a great deal!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by doublediamond from Grand Rapids, MI on Monday, January 21, 2013I have been skiing over 40+ days for the last 15-years and have skied tecnica's for the majority of this time. A couple of years ago I bought Tecnica Dragon 120's as a less aggressive boot, as I am approcahing fifty, and thought a slightly softer boot would be more comfortable. After two years, I am replacing them with a narrower boot as I can almost role my ankle in the ample room inside the Dragon. The 98mm last of the Diablo fits my narrow foot much better and as with most new boots, which are softer front-to-back. the Diablo's work great for anywhere on the mountain as well as the race course.
One nice feature on technica boots is the steel reinforcement plate in the base of the boot that provides lateral stiffness over many years. I had a previous set of Atomic race boots that over 5-years torqued out and made the skis feel like my edges were not sharp, when I put the dragon's on, it was like I had brand new skis on.
The only feture I do not like about the Diablo's out of the box is that the toe box is small top-to-bottom. when I moved my orthodic into the boot the whole shell feels smaller top to bottom than previous race boots i have owned. These issues are miner as the boot fits well with the standard footbeds but I will likely find a thinner orthotic to fit and get the tight spots fixed at a good boot fitter. Though this is expected to get any boot to fit well
