STP sells two different Terramar Body Sensors boxer briefs. This one is called "Ventilator Mesh". The other one is "tech mesh pro-jersey". The products look and fit similarly, but I prefer this "Ventilator Mesh" product which is made from a lighterweight vented fabric throughout. The "tech mesh" pr... Read More

    • i noticd that too! its just the photo. i have several colors and they are identical

    • I got all 3 of the other colors and they actually had a little longer inseam than I thought they would from the picture. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly how the dark loden compares to them since they were out of my size in that color. Not sure if this is helpful to you or not.

    • I believe they are longer.
Answered on 5/1/2016 6:23:20 PM by T from Kansas
    • Matt, I bought the boxer briefs in black and gray. I measured the inseam and its about 5 inches. I also wear UA regular and mesh boxer briefs with a 6 inch inseam, and these feel as good as those. They do fit tighter than UA, but not uncomfortably tight.
Answered on 5/1/2016 7:17:47 PM by glacier91 from Missouri
    • The inseams do vary slightly and the loden has perhaps the longest inseam. The grey has the shortest in my experience. Hope this helps

    • While I only have the grey pair, I cannot speak to the Dark Loden. However, I think the picture is a little misleading. I don't believe the inseam is actually that short. I am also speaking to the medium pair.

    • I usually wear cotton boxer briefs but for outdoor use (hiking in questionable weather, exercise, etc) I use the Terramars because they wick and stay warmer when damp. From your description I'm not sure the Terramars would fit you well. They are much closer fitting and noticeably shorter in the legs than my usual cotton boxers. They are stretchy so they don't restrict movement but they would probably ride up when you are seated and not relax back down when you are on your feet.

    • I think they are typical length for boxer briefs. On my husband they are a little less than halfway to his knee. He has large, muscular thighs and has no complaints. In fact he ordered more.
Answered on 4/2/2016 7:46:57 PM by KittyMom from Chesapeake Beach, MD
    • These are slightly shorter, probably not for your purpose.
Answered on 4/2/2016 10:39:49 PM by Flyguide from co
    • These have about a six inch inseam. I don't like the three inch inseam because it's too short and I don't like the nine inch inseam because it's too long. These boxer briefs are tighter around my thighs than a pair of Under Armour or Ex-Officio boxer briefs, which I also wear. UA makes a decent pair of mesh boxer briefs that aren't as tight on my thighs as these. Eventhough they are tighter they do seem to stay in place ok and I don't have any issues with them riding up. I would buy one pair when STP is running their 25% off sale and free shipping, no minimum, and see how you like them. With that discount + sales tax I've bought them for less than $12.00 a pair, which is cheap. If they aren't as comfortable as you would like and have issues with them riding up, you wouldn't be out much money.

    • These are mid thigh and I have never had any problem with them riding up. These are the best ever in my opinion.

    • I I love my briefs. Very comfortable. I don't know how the length compares to regular briefs, but they don't ride up or down on me.
Answered on 4/3/2016 3:32:04 PM by Cleo's best friend from Colorado
    • I have half a dozen pairs of these boxer briefs. The material has a decent amount of elasticity, which keeps the legs from stretching out and riding up. The inseam is about 4", which I would categorize as on the shorter end of the length spectrum.

    • These fit a little tighter on my thighs than other pairs of boxer briefs. This prevents them from riding up on me, even when pulling my jeans up. They aren't tight enough too bother me. As for length, they may be a little shorter than most other brands.

    • The length on these is pretty standard they seem to be about 4". I have above average thighs and these seem to ride up less than all cotton boxer briefs from hanes and fruit of the loom that I have worn in the past. These hold their shape really well so maybe that helps. They do ride a little but not near as bad as cotton counterparts

  • “How long is the outseam on a medium?”
Asked by Joe from DC on 3/29/2015 9:45:04 PM
    • Not sure what the outseam is. I wear the XL and they fit comfortably. Shorter than some boxer-briefs, but not too short.

    • I can only speak to the XL's I purchased -- from the 'top of the waist band to the outer leg bottom' measures 14 1/2".

    • I apologize for taking so long to answer. I have 3 pairs of Terramar Body-Sensor Boxer Brief - Ventilator. All 3 fit the same. They only come in black with black band no logo and grey with black band and no logo. They are mesh fabric through out and no jersey.

Do not confuse them with Terramar Body-Sensor Boxer brief - Tech Mesh Pro-Jersey. They are part jersey and part mesh and the fit different. The Tech Mesh Pro-Jersey come in different colors with a black band with the Terramar logo on the band.

      Hope this helps.
