Great Tee Shirt
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tango dancer from Phoenix AZ on Tuesday, November 3, 2009
I am sorry I did not order more. I am really sorry I did not order more.
Since discovering wicking and dri-fit clothes I now try them when I get the chance. My first marathon was in NYC and I wore cotton socks, tee shirt and a long sleeve tee shirt. It rained. The cotton socks rubbed my toe nail... Read More

  • Thru hike Shirt
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Charles from dallas on Sunday, September 30, 2018
I have tried 10 different shirts and chosen this one for my thru hike. At 4.3oz for the large, it's 1.4oz heavier than the Patigonia Capilene ultralight. Not even considering the cost difference. This is a better shirt for me. The helix is much more comfortable and worth the extra weight. It's also pretty durable. I am an ounce counter. It was an easy decision. I have 4 or 5 other Terramar pieces I am bringing. Terramar stacked against whatever else I could find, and afford (not Arcterex). Wins fair and square most of the time. They have a lot of really good products.

This shirt is so lightweight you hardly know you are wearing it. Fit is not skin tight but not baggy either. It does a great job of wicking and keeping you cool(er).

Good looking t-shirt, very light and comfortable. Fits nicely, not too baggy and not "body mapping". Gunmetal is a great color, too.
  • Breathable shirt

Soft and lightweight. Oddly, I had ordered a large and x-large and both fit about the same. The large was accidental.

  • “A current color sample looks deep purple but the shirt I received is bright blue (which I see now is the label on the purple swatch).”
Asked by Paul from NY on 4/22/2016 1:22:11 PM
    • Very true. I was in the same boat and I took two things into consideration. First, I didn't mind if the shirt was a bright blue (really a dark bright blue, if that makes sense), so I thought I would gamble and see if it really was purple, like in the picture. It isn't. Secondly, these shirts are an absolute steal at this price for a moisture wicking shirt, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I didn't get a purple shirt like the picture, but I got a nice blue shirt like advertised.

    • Always read description carefully especially on closeout items! perhaps the company didn't have correct color swatch to display, but I do like the performance of these shirts.

  • “I'm colorblind. I have one of these shirts in "Cypress" which I haven't seen for quite some time. However, the "brick" offering appears to me to be the same color, but I have always associated brick with red. it red or green? Thanks!”
Asked by Mr. Colorblind from Indiana on 3/27/2015 10:56:55 AM
    • Hi...I don't remember doing a review on these, but I can tell you that the Brick is definitely not green. It is a red-like color with rust shade (a bit like a muted orange/red). Good luck!

    • Just checked out the color samples of this fantastic t-shirt. Cypress is typically light blue (not listed in samples).
Brick appears to be a dark orange/pale red. By the way, nice choice of T-shirt. I bought several of these, my husband loves them.

      Hope this helps.

    • Well, I got one in steel blue and its a little lighter than the color on the website. But for your case, I'd say the brick does look like a dark orange-red. But if it looks like the cypress to you, then get the brick! I'm not sure if this is helpful for what you're asking, but I hope so!

    • In taking a look at the colors, it appears to me that the color brick looks more like a copper color or more dark orange. So neither red or green. The lava color looks brighter orange than the bright orange color, and the bright orange color looks red. So it would appear that the people at Terramar could be color blind too. I hope this helps.

    • There is no "Cypress" color option for this tee. If you mean "Citrus," I find it to be an unappetizing shade of green. I greatly would prefer "Olive." On the other hand, "Brick" is a darker shade of "Orange"--an entirely different color than "Citrus." I do things the easy way, wearing "Black" only. Do not know if this piece of information is of any use to you, but the easiest way by far to remember the colors of the spectrum is to memorize the name of Mr. Roy G. Biv--red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. All shades of color derive from these "majors." White is the absence of color. Black is, well, I forgot that part of my junior-high-school chemistry class....

    • Hello,

I am not aware that there is a "cypress" color for this shirt. There is a "citrus" which is a sort of lime green, however, I am not seeing "cypress as a color option.

    • the brick color on the website looks a little Red/Orange, but I would imagine to usually mean red. It may look more red than the web photo, but I would guess cypress to be green. Hope this helps

    • The Brick is an ORANGE/RED color, it is a deep reddish/orange hue. Hope this helps. My husband LOVES this shirt, it s light weight, and really does whisk the perspiration away. He wore it in the Caribbean on a hike to the top of one of the Mayan Ruins, a strenuous hike.

  • “Are the colors 'lava (07)' and 'bright orange (15)' correctly displayed in this listing? Seems to me 'lava' should be darker and redder than 'bright orange,' but on this page 'bright orange' isn't bright at all. It's more of a tomato red, whereas the picture for 'lava' looks like what I would describe as bright orange.”
