Thick and warm
Verified Buyer Reviewed by NoVa Scouter from Virginia on Wednesday, March 15, 2017
Nice, thick, warm socks. I'm glad I followed the advice of others and bought a size smaller than normal -- medium fits my size 10 feet well.

Nice socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Missy from Upper Peninsula MI on Thursday, May 10, 2018Nice and thick...very comfortable and warm...the elastic is perfect; not to tight.
Nice Cushiony Feel!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rampant Timothy from Mid south spring & fall, Mountains in the Summer on Wednesday, May 9, 2018I like a crew type sock at times for my out door activities. Great price, comfortable sock. Nice to know it's also merino wool.
SoftVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wooden leg from Virginia on Monday, April 30, 2018Great merino wool feel but the socks run very large. I wear a 10.5 shoe and got the small after returning the medium.
Toes seams are killing meReviewed by Cactus Jon from Austin on Wednesday, April 18, 2018These appear to be good hiker socks, but beware! The edges of the toe seams bulge out and are lumpy, instead of being carefully laid-out to lay flat. I've gotton blisters on both my "pinky" toes after hiking only 3-5 miles.
On the plus side, they should last a really long time - especially since I won't be wearing them...
OrderedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sleepypeepers from Winston Salem on Tuesday, April 17, 2018More of these too.
Way too bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by MEK970 from Colorado on Wednesday, April 11, 2018While the package label for these socks indicated the socks would fit my foot the socks were WAY too big. I bought the mediums thinking they would fit my size 8 women's foot. Instead they fit my husband's men's size 11 foot. Size down if you are going to buy these socks.
Great Wool SocksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Camping Friend from Layton, Utah on Tuesday, April 10, 2018The is the second set of Terramar Hiker socks. The socks feel great on my feet and are holding up to daily wear
Thick This IsVerified Buyer Reviewed by HDmom from California on Thursday, April 5, 2018If you want thick, cushiony socks, these fit the bill. They were so thick that they crushed my husband's feet in his shoes, so these are going to people who need thick, cushiony socks.
WAY too BIGVerified Buyer Reviewed by boobilious from new Yawk on Sunday, April 1, 2018Very oversized product. I bought the L, I'm typically US mens 11.5, but these socks would fit someone with US men's size 12.5-17.38 I'm pretty sure. They're very thick too
Terramar Crew SocksVerified Buyer Reviewed by duc998 from California on Thursday, March 29, 2018Fit huge and are much heavier than I like.

“Looking for a hiking sock that has a non binding top that diabetics can wear”
I have been diabetic one year, but have tried to avoid socks with tight elastic tops, a very common feature.
These are moderately elastic, in fact the entire cylinder around the leg is uniformly elastic, with a 1/2 inch roll
at the top, increasing the constriction there only slightly. I do see a general depression in my leg from the
top band when wearing these, but it is moderate. Sometimes I fold the top of any sock down a couple inches
to spread out the constriction just above the ankle. These are basically crew length and moderately thick.
Maybe not a perfect solution but better than most. In a very heavy sock Bridgedale summit has a broad band
that folds down well--got them a couple years ago. Goodhew Expedition is my favorite heavy merino--taller, slightly less
elastic, but probably too much for general hiking. Hope that helps.
