My Stats:
5'2
140 lbs
39-40 in low hips/seat

Initially I ordered a pair in Black, size Medium and though the fit was loose, I loved the softness and lightness of the fabric so much that I exchanged the original pair for 6 more pairs. I reordered 3 Smalls and 3 Mediums in Black, Nude and Periwinkle because sometimes sizes are inconsistent depending on the color and if this was the case for these panties, I wanted to find the ones that would offer the best fit for me. Though they were all equally lovely in terms of softness and weight, I noticed upon further inspection that the bottoms were cut in the shape of isosceles triangles with very straight cuts on either side of the buttocks. This was true of ALL the bikinis and I suspected that they would creep up as soon as I began to move.

To make sure I wasn't mistaken, I laid each of these bikinis on top of my normal Patagonia Active Briefs (Size Med and a bit too roomy) and found that they are almost 2 inches narrower on each side of the buttocks and have relatively large leg openings. When the Terramars are on, they cover about 8 inches of my behind from side to side. If I were to sit Indian style, practice yoga, climb stairs or bend to sit down, I could imagine that one butt cheek or both would pop out and the panties would bunch up you know where and I'd have to try to discretely readjust...which would seriously be a pain in my a**.

So despite the great fabric, because of the poor fit (for this active, round bottom girl), I cannot recommend the Terramar Natara High Performance Panties.
