  • “I see in the specs that it is called heavyweight, but when I got mine, it seemed very light and the packaging said 250/g. The smartwool product calls itself mid-weight and specifies 250/g as well. Is this truly a heavyweight layer, or are the specs wrong and it is more mid to light weight?”
Asked by fishbum from Laguna, CA on 10/28/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • According to the Terramar brand this is considered heavyweight base layer. There is no industry standard from brand to brand. So another brand may consider it a mid-weight layer. Compared to the Smartwool line it would be considered a mid-weight.
