Reviewed by 2dillons from Augusta, Georgia on Wednesday, October 16, 2013I bought thesfor my husband as his previous pair of similar design finally wore out. He loves the style.... Easy on and off and toe protection. The brown color is very nice as well. We bought his normal sandal size and they fit.

Reviewed by Thom Tex from Texas on Wednesday, September 11, 2013These Teva's were a great shoe, and worth the money. They're a bit more difficult to get on, but once fitted they feel natural and light. Excellent in the water. I live on a lake and fish constantly. The shoe takes the water and feels comfortable all day.
Reviewed by Unknown from Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday, August 21, 2013I wear size 9 shoes/sandals and I could fit into the size nine sandals because they were way too tight. I did like the other pair of sandals!
I am not eager to shop at a Sierra tradind post

“Did to know what is the truth on this product. STP in the overview states "•Adjustable touch-fasten heel strap and single-pull lacing for a customized fit." However, the two reviewers say that the heel strap does NOT function and is for cosmetic fashion "show." So what is the truth, does the heel strap peel off of the Velcro to adjust or is it sown shut for looks only?”
The strap at the back is for adjusting the fit at the back of the shoe. The reviewers are referencing that the strap does not completely open the back of the shoe to make it easier to put on.
Kevin @ STP: I'm sorry, but you did NOT address the question. Does the Velcro heel strap actually function -- i.e. open fully and then Velcro back closed so as to allow the wearer to adjust the heel? If it does not function, then could STP please up their website and product description? Right now I'm sitting on the fence as to whether or not to buy these sandals. But based on the two reviewers comments about the heel strap, I would NOT buy the sandals. Thanks.
