  • “I am looking to buy hiking boots that would be a good fit for both cold fall hikes as well as warm summer ones. Would these fit the description?”
Asked by Anonymous from Boston, MA on 1/28/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • These hiking boots, like many hiking boots, do not come with an advertised temperature rating. One customer tested them out in different climate conditions and posted an online review stating that "These shoes when worn with thick wool socks are surprisingly warm" [in weather just above freezing], but she mentioned that she "will not wear them in colder climates."

  • “I'm looking for a waterproof boot to wear snowshoeing. Just wodering if these would be a good choice. I have a narrow foot, so some of the reviews indicate this would be a good fit for me, I just need to make sure they would keep my feet dry and warm during my snowshoeing excursion.”

    • It comes above the ankle. I would call it a mid boot. My climbing boots are much higher.
