This shoes is just what I would expect from Teva. Have not yet tested the waterproof quality. The downside is this shoe is rather stiff and inflexible. I am hoping it will soften In time.

Heel would slip out of shoe otherwise they would have been perfect. I loved the design and the fact that they were waterproof, had to return them.

Hesitant to rate these shoes before giving them a workout. I usually walk 6 miles twice a week, and I wanted to have a pair of walking shoes in my closet so that when my other Tevas wear out, I have something I like to replace them. Just by trying them on, I can tell there will be no problems with these shoes. Great arch support, toe box wide enough to accept my favorite merino socks, and these run true to size. An 8.5 fit perfectly. No surprises, just a quality shoe at a great price.

Loved the shoe, but was disappointed it didn't fit. I have a Morton's foot (foreshortened 1st metatarsal / long second toe) and am constantly searching for comfortable shoes. Teva's are the best! The size larger was not available. Oh! Well! Maybe next time.

It is a bit narrow but still very comfortable and stabilizing. Also very attractive, well made shoe. Great for walking, hiking, wet weather.

    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Was this a gift?: No
    • Width: Feels too narrow

    • I would not recommend these as they are a trail running/light hiker shoe and will not allow for the water to escape easily.

    • If you'll be submerging them in the water I wouldn't use these shoes. They are more like a hiking shoe/sneaker type.

    • I would probably not recommend these for your rafting trip. I was raft guide for years in the Grand Canyon and I cannot imagine using these shoes. I would opt more to go for some lace-up Keens or Chacos. You can always wear a neoprene sock/bootie underneath for warmth.

    • No. This is coming from a seasoned whitewater rafting guide. Water will get trapped in them and you'll end up with soggy uncomfortable feet all day. Teva sandals or Chaco sandals would work much better.

About Teva

When a young river guide named Mark Thatcher started building his own sandals back in the 1980s, he had no idea his creation would eventually become a household name in the outdoor footwear industry. Today, Teva sandals are considered a pioneering force in go-anywhere utility. From muddy river bottoms to dusty trails to city sidewalks, Teva shoes and sandals are designed to provide the ultimate mix of lightweight support, superior traction and unique style. Over the past quarter century, Teva footwear has expanded its hybrid roots, defying the limitations and taking on new territory. With grippy rubber outsoles and anatomically designed footbeds, Teva sandals and shoes provide the support you need to paddle, hike, explore and generally have a blast outside.
