So Far, So Good

My previous sandals were a very study (genuine rubber deck) African product that is no longer imported. They lasted ten years before a strap gave way. I've only had these sandals for a few months, so it seems really premature to review them so soon. They are much lighter, thinner, and somewhat stiffer than the old pair. The straps are arranged well to keep the sandal on your foot and not flopping around, but the straps are stiffer and a bit harder to don than the old pair. However, I expect they may soften up with continued use. On wet and slippery surfaces, they slip more than my old rubber pair. But from all the models I have found that are currently available for sale in the US, I think these sandals have the potential to give me good value over the next few years for my money.
