Great sandal, weird sizing

For some reason I'd always considered Tevas as being sort of a lower tier sandal, but after some research their no-frills design finally caught my attention, and for the most part I've been very satisfied. They took a little breaking in as the connection between several straps at the front of the sandal was pretty uncomfortable at first, but now they're super comfy. When they're wet they get weirdly slippery between my foot and the sole, which means that I've opted more for neoprene booties when I'm scrambling around rocks at the water's edge, but for all other purposes they've been great. One last note, the sizing on these things is ridiculous; I normally wear a size 11 shoe but with my heel at the rear of the footbed the 11 extended about an inch and a half beyond my toes. I exchanged them for size 10 but even those are on the large side, and if these were available in half sizes I'd switch them out for a 9 1/2.
