Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lyon Hiker from Arizona on Monday, March 20, 2017Love them! Comfortable shoes with great back support that allowed me to insert a heel cup and arch support while hiking in and out of water for over ten hours and without a single blister.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jon the fisherman from Florida on Tuesday, February 21, 2017Around here in NW Florida, the coast is sharp with oysters and barnacles. These shoes are sure to protect me from them, and not fall apart. They'll drain easily and they have great traction for slippery algae.
Reviewed by James from California on Tuesday, November 15, 2016As one that seldom writes a review, doing this is a testamony to the shoe.
I got my first pair three years ago, as a water shoe, which was good for I went rafting and end up in the river, wearing that pair. They held up and looked good for everyday city of country. I walked the bottoms off those.
I got my second pair 18 months ago, knowing that I needed shoes I could trust going to Israel for 3 months. Lots of walking, and these were again my primary shoe. They still are to this day, and I am walking the bottoms off again, so looking for another pair. The ones on display are not my size, so I will look else where.
Down side to these shoes. In Jerusalem, the streets have a very smooth stone, when I gets wet, these shoes slip. Not an issue any place else that I have been, but for the wet streets there a softer sole or shower shoes work well.
Enjoy them, I know I do.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Right1 from PTown on Thursday, October 27, 2016Flat foot bed & sorta granola goofy looking; not a fan.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Monday, October 17, 2016As usual, these Keene sandals fit and feel terrific from the first time I put them on. The one thing I do not like is the lacing method. The tightness of the lace makes it very difficult to snug them up to a comfortable feel. It would be an improvement if Keene added some additional lace length or something to grab to snug them on one's feet.

They do not, I wear a "D" and would not be able to wear sox with them.
I also have wide feet and find that standard width Tevas fit me general fit well in general, size 11. These Teva Kitling sandals are no exception. There was no break-in for them to be comfortable.
My feet are wide, too so I get a size 13 even though they only come in regular width. a 12 wide isn't quite long enough for me.
I'd say they are 'average' at size 13 but in sizes below that, I don't know.
We currently only have this item in medium width. According to our fit team this item is running true to size.
I think they are fairly normal. I have wide fee too and they fit fine.
No they do not. Usually were a M and they fit fine.

“I bought these for my son to wear this summer- he wore them once and the elastic cord broke on one of the shoes. Is there a way to get a replacement cord? ”
i took the cord out of mine and used regular shoe strings
i find i get a tighter fit
I would take the sandals to a person who repairs shoes and sandals and ask that person to see what can be done. As information, I've had my Tevas for several months now and have not had to touch the elastic cord once. I just slip them on and use my shoehorn to assist and voila - I'm good to go. The elastic cord is there to allow the wearer to get that comfortable feel from the beginning. Unless Sierra Trading Post has told you that they would not exchange your sandals, you can ask for the exchange as they sound like they're defective. Good luck with your Tevas.
Sorry to hear that. I would contact Teva and see if they could help or had some advice.
