Took the Teva Nilch on a recent backpack, using them for water and as camp shoes. They are perfect for my use. I could "shibby" up the hills for very short jaunts, if you know what I mean, and the traction was Ultra-Mega with the squiggly tread design. They are lightweight and the price was fantastic. No $80 water shoes for me! They are great in the water as I need toe protection. I like it that there are no "holes" like other water shoes. No stones can get in. Made it easy for me to enjoy the "majestic" setting.
