  • Yes they are very durable and very "washable" splash in the mud and hose it off. I have done this many times. Teva sport sandals are easy care and durable. They also a great for hiking. Only one drawback, it's open toe design is great for urban hiking or beaches but if you're in your garden or yard or in the woods, watch your toes from rocks, sharp objects and critters.

  • I love my Teva's. I wear them boating and often walk right into the water with them on. They are very comfortable. When they get dirty I hose them off. I don't think you would have any issues with gardening. I don't know if they would deteriorate over time, but I have had them since the beginning of the summer and they are holding up beautifully.
