Teva Wit Trail Shoes - Waterproof (For Boys)

Warning: these shoes may be overkill for kids who won’t leave the couch, put down the device or turn off the TV. But if you have one of those old-fangled varieties of kid, the type who mysteriously sends bargain shoes to the graveyard with a few days of wear, you’ll want to grab some of these while you can. We live on acreage in the forest. To get there you drive on gravel roads. My 5 year old has enough energy to power Manhattan (totally renewable energy too), and enough curiosity to see the view from the top of every tree, edge of every boulder, and from every angle on every mountain. He neve. EVER. stops. (He’s the kid who makes you remember being a kid so you can’t not love him for it). We go hiking every week and are always exploring under and over waterfalls and sometimes slippery rocky paths in the Pacific Northwest. These shoes are the first he’s owned that he doesn’t complain about, keep him from slipping, can handle whatever he gives them, and still look nice at the end of the day. I lived them so much I bought two pairs - one in a size up - so I wouldn’t miss out on the deal and lament not having them available when he eventually outgrows them. We had never tried Tevas before we got him sandals this summer, but I’m now a Teva fan for life!
