4.0 out of 5 stars. Surprisingly comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Chas-in-the-woods from Illinois on Thursday, October 11, 2012I love these boots. Great in the office or in the woods, Personally, I like the funky dark blue-black color...but this may not be for everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice!Reviewed by Snaji from Ellicott City, MD on Monday, July 23, 2012I like these boots a lot, but two things keep me from rating them 5 stars. The back ridge is just slightly uncomfortable on the achilles tendon, but in all fairness, I've only started wearing them, so we'll see how they feel long-term. The other thing that keeps me from rating them 5 stars is that I also bought (on the same order) a pair of Wenger Murphy Work boots, which are absolutely superb in every regard, so by comparison, these are just very nice. There's no North Face branding on the upper, only on the bottom of the sole. The cushioning is nice, the workmanship is nice, and the look is very nice. By the way, they are described as black/midnight blue, but they are pretty much black with blue laces. I was hoping they were more navy, but they still look very good. I'm guessing the white sole may be challenging to keep looking good, but so far, they look great. Overall, a very nice pair of boots . . . just not as nice as the Wenger Murphy's.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great all around bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Lobo from Fullerton, CA on Sunday, July 22, 2012Got this boots for their stylish new NYC style look. I'm also a mountaneer and own an incredible amount of more expensive boots. I had no idea TNF was making such stylish and well made footware. I ware 14, and 15 on nikes.
