I am always a small ( 6 or 8 tops) but the small was too close a fit - would notmhave been able tomwear anything inder it. But exchanged it for the medium and the fit is good. It has a nice slightly fitted shaoe. Just recieved it so have no idea about how it will wear, but so far so good
