I bought this specifically because i wanted a 300g fleece to zip into my TNF shell. It fits perfect. Very warm and soft. Love the color! And i got it for half the price (with coupon) of other retailers selling same jacket!

Wow, what a fleece! Fabric is thick and warm, a coziness that feels like a nice hug. The fit is slenderizing and fitted, however not confining. The jacket follows the lines of a woman's body and isn't a sloppy fit. If between sizes I would go up, otherwise stick with the usual size that is mostly in the closet. The only thing that would make this better is a hood. I got the med. and I am 5'3", 129 lbs., slightly athletic build. Sleeves are plenty long, but not overly so. The width of the sleeves allows for clothing, and isn't tight like some things are anymore. The spongy or bouncy feel of the fleece seems to have a bit of a give to it. The fleece comes up comfortably high on my neck and is soft against my neck and chin. The length is just right and covers me slightly more than mid pocket on my jeans, with the slight drop tail hem. I got the purple and it is beautiful. I would like to get another color, but my closet says otherwise!

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
