About The North Face Kilowatt Jacket (For Men)

Closeouts. The North Face's Kilowatt jacket is a light layer of breathable, quick-drying warmth and weather protection for chilly-day runs or activities. The woven shell sloughs off moisture, the knit sleeves add moves-with-you stretch, and the brushed interior lends softness and low-bulk warmth.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice jacket

These jackets are great for windy cool weather with some rain. A very versatile jacket that I wear a lot in the pacific NW.
On sizing, I own two of these jackets. I wear a L at 6' 180 lbs with broad shoulders. For me the sleeves are a good length but if your slimmer in the shoulders I could see the sleeves being too long. You may want the extra length if you're going to wear the sleeves over the hands like the marketing photo, which I don't because (a) it's dorky and (b) the sleeves aren't that long. Hope that helps. Great jacket for $50-60.

I am fine with size M for most of North Face Jackets (5'9 and 160 lbs). I wish I have ordered S for this one. The materials look size and feel warm.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Runs very small

I have many NF garments that fit fine in an XL. Couldn't even zip this one. Beware of sizing; had to return.

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
